Things Kiki Says

After a winter in the tropics, the word "pants" has disappeared from Kiki's vocabulary.  We have only "shorty shorts" and "the shorts that are long."

We went to see my new baby niece, Evie.  Kate held the baby, and fed the baby, and fawned all over the baby.  Kiki hardly looked at the baby, except with serious jealousy when I held the baby.  After leaving, Kate went on and on..."Baby Evie is so cute and new...Baby Evie is so sweet...I got to feed Baby Evie her bottle..."  Finally Kiki had had enough of that and said, "Yeah?  Well, I liked the dog."

I bought some pepperoni with plans to make pizza sometime this week, and Kiki can't stay out of it!  We should all know by now that she lacks the ability to eschew a processed meat product.  I finally told her there would be no pizza if she didn't quit eating my pepperoni, and within minutes she was back at my side saying, "I know that I extra double bind promised to stay out of the pepperoni but now I really need some bacon."

I feel the SAME way! I could eat pastrami, pepperoni, bacon, sausage, all freaking day long! Tim is thinking of buying me a shirt that says, "I love bacon!" because I do. I really do LOVE it.
