Taking Action

Probably the only downside to my summer of guests is the fact that my good eating habits totally fly out the window. I'm feeling squishy and yucky and other adjectives that end in "Y." (excluding "Skinny," of course.) I've formulated a plan-
The Affirmative Action Diet.
No Whites Allowed.
It's not that there's anything WRONG with you, white flour, white sugar, and white rice. It's just that WHEAT has historically been under-represented in my diet, and this plan is necessary for social justice. It's not that you're not good enough, Whites, it's just that the Wheats are equally good, and they could really use a leg up. I plan on consuming you, Whites, in a proportion that is somewhat relative to your representation in society, but I also feel that you have belonged to the "Good Ol' Bread" club long enough. It's time to make things right. Don't feel bad, Whites, I still love you, I just have these darn......quotas. There, I said it.

Love this post. Although white is delicious there is a certain richness to the "others" too. So good luck with that. I'm still laughing about your comment my last post. Not to worry, the tail was removed without delay!

Sometimes discrimination is necessary when it comes to your health. Good luck on saying no to the white stuff. I know you'll be successful.
