Last Day of School!

Kate had the most fantastic kindergarten teacher ever. Her name is Mrs. Walker and Kate loved her so much. The first year of school was stressful for me as a mom, and having such a good teacher made it much, much easier.

Nevertheless, I don't know who was more excited as the last days of school wound down: Kate or me. I was ready to have mornings with a little less structure and craziness. Although we were sad to say good-bye to her teacher, it was time to party! Kate wanted all of her friends in the neighborhood to get together, and thankfully we were blessed with a sunny afternoon.

The kids...

We have an amazing group of children in our neighborhood. We had at least 20 kids over and there were no fights and no hurt feelings- just fun and play. I hope it remains that way when they are teenagers...

They are probably such good kids because they have such good moms. I have such nice friends in my neighborhood, and they are all just amazing women in their own unique way.
