One of our most fun summer activities was our trip to Bryce Canyon with the Sheltons and Grandpa Jack. We started with a night at the cabin.
Of course we climbed Popcorn Rock.
Tradition mandates it.
We stopped at the Anasazi Museum in Escalante.
We hiked along the Escalante River.
The kids swam in Calf Creek.
I took the kids to the Fairyland Overlook to see the sun set.
We were met with not only the sunset, but a beautiful double rainbow as well.
The next day we did some hiking in Bryce Canyon.
We shopped in town and took Grandpa's obituary photo.
There was more hiking.
Our last morning was spent at an animal museum.
This is a shot of the fault line right outside of Bryce Canyon. Black rock on the left, red rock on the right.
