In what seems to be a new tradition, I ran the AF Canyon half with Jen, Em, and the Super Speedy Strickland Sisters.
I went right from the race to helping with a wedding.
This was the bouquet- maybe the prettiest one I've ever made.
After begging and begging, I caved and took the girls to a carnival.
It didn't take long for them to realize that carnivals are one of those things that LOOK fun but aren't ACTUAL fun.
Daisy continued to eat us out of house and home.
It's clearly time for a diet.
LaBoeuf practiced mindful yoga.
We did a ton of work on the backyard. These are the "before" pictures. I'm struck now by how pretty our backyard looks. Sadly, one false move on the deck could have brought you to an early death.
Kate tried sushi for the first time. She said her favorite was "the one that didn't make me gag."
Mid-construction, we appeared to replace one hazard with another.
