AfterThe headboard is an old screen door from my mom's house in American Fork. It was such a pretty color that I just had to find a way to use it. Doesn't it look cozy? I am taking reservations for the summer season.
I had a weird empty spot but I just couldn't find the right thing for it. Yesterday was the perfect shopping day for two reasons. Reason #1: My sweet mother-in-law sent me a little money for Mother's Day with a request to spend it on something fun for myself (easily done). Reason #2: Lindsay and I found these awesome chairs. I even negotiated the lady down to half price. Don't think too much of my negotiation skills, because the owner of the store seemed eager to be rid of them. I am so excited! Now it is on to my next projects- the other guest room and the office.

If you could block out June and July for us that would be great! Love the screen door. So creative..
Sign me up to stay in the cozy bed. I love your decorating style!
We have to make reservations now...was it the time we stayed for nearly a month without asking?!
Love what you've done with the place! I wish you could do the same for us! Can't wait to see you all!

Becca- don't think I'm a nut job for posting (This is Brooke's sis Jaime) but yes, I'm blog stalking you now that I realize who you are from Brooke's blog. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for agreeing that a door is a great headboard. I've been trying to get my husband to help me find an old door for that very purpose & I think he long ago deemed me crazy & has been no help. Now I have someone to back me up. Thanks. Plus, you are hands down one of the funniest people ever.
