Point #1: Maybe it's the HD, maybe it's that Bruce insisted upon the 60" TV. Either way, Ryan Seacrest was wearing at least TWO coats of black mascara. Who's idea was that?
Point #2: The boxing match analogy grew tired in the first 30 seconds.
Point #3: Paula Abdul is the queen of the overly-obvious-song-reference-analogy. Example A: "David Cook, maybe you haven't found what you were looking for, but America has found what they are looking for!!" Example B: "David Archuleta, the sun will NEVER go down on you!" Lame, but to Paula's credit it is really hard to think of things to say when you have had 20 Vicodin and a fifth of vodka today.

That HD technology is a blessing and a curse, especially on a 60 inch screen. Heaven forbid I ever make the news and have to see what I look like in high def!
I thought that Ryan looked way girly with all of his makeup last night, and I don't have HD or a 60 inch screen. All he needed was a little glitter.
I Paula's defense....She has a sleep disorder and finds it very difficult to get any sleep. I also am not allowed to sleep, thanks to my husband and kids...and therefore sound an awful lot like her!
