The Judd cousins started the Fourth with a 5k in Henefer. Judd girls (and a couple of husbands!) across the nation have been training diligently for the event. I was the jerk who called my cousin Ashley and said, "Is this going to be all kumbaya and we run together, or are we racing?" She said we were racing, but we did go kumbaya and get matching t-shirts. My Grandma's name is Gloria, but she is called "Goldie" and the great grandkids call her "Go-Go." Our shirts said "Goldie's Girls" on the front, and "Go-Go Gone" on the back.
I ran my fastest 5k ever- 26:12. I have my new Forerunner to thank. It's a handy little GPS watch/timer so I know my current pace and the distance covered, and I like it! It's been funny- no one I have talked to has said, "Did you have fun?" They've all asked, "Did you win?" Nope, sure didn't. But I made the goal I set for myself, and that's what matters.
We partied at Grandma Go-Go's to celebrate my cousin Leeanne who is having a baby. It was a fun start to our Fourth of July. ...and thanks to all my cousins who were so nice to Kate. She is IN LOVE with all of you.

Good job! This may sound funny... but it looks like fun!!
Becca, I can't thank you enough for your help on Saturday. I was starting to get tired after a week of kids and planning activities. You stepped in when I needed the most help! Thank you for coming, for running and encouraging all your cousins! You girls all rocked! I can't think of a better way to bond with your "Goldie Girls cousins!"
I noticed you have a race sat, did you decide to do the canyon to canyon? You can stay at our house fri night if you want to.
Congrats on the big time improvement! I'm glad that everyone had a good time. Missed seeing everyone....
yup the money is taken care of for the shirts.
This is awesome! Way to go, ladies! Oh, and gentlemen! I'm sure Gloria was so proud of you all!
