Kiki can be so naughty! To make matters worse (for me, or better for her) she has such a cute way about her that it's impossible to stay mad.
On Sunday alone, she squeezed out an entire tube of toothpaste, dumped my expensive foundation in the toilet (It's the only nice cosmetic I buy. Everything else is Cover Girl, but she never seems to want to ruin the cheap stuff.), and pulled out all the plants in Bruce's salsa garden. Naughty, naughty.
Oh, but she is so easy to forgive. She has the greatest laugh. She is fearless at the swimming pool- she thinks she should be allowed to ride the big slides by herself even though she's a full foot under the minimum height requirement. She will jump off the side of the pool and swim to the edge (the only barrier between her and an obituary is a cheap plastic tube from the dollar store), but if I try to help her she says, "Don't touch me!"
Kate was begging Kiki to let her paint Kiki's nails. "Please can I paint your nails?" "No," Kiki said. "Please, please, PLEASE..." Kate whined. "No," Kiki repeated. "Kiki, let me paint your nails or I will cry." Kiki thought a minute and said, "Cry."

Kiki and DB were cut out of the same cloth. It is very much a roller coaster to raise the free spirits!
