Don't worry- I have plans for their Christmas "Costumes" as well.
After days of looking at this toy room, something in me snapped.
It was extremely satisfying. I didn't bother with any "after" pictures since it's obvious that the cleanliness won't last.
Kiki's naughtiness has reached never before seen peaks. Wednesday: She was angry that I wouldn't let her run wild in Walmart, and when we were en route home, she threw a toy at my head. I managed to stay calm, but I did roll the car window down and chucked Plankton into a field. Of course, she freaked out, but I told her, "Let that be a warning to you. If you throw anything at me ever again, it will be the last time you lay eyes on it." She must have believed me, because she has turned to other tactics. Thursday: Used an entire container of lotion to do a little ice skating on the kitchen floor. Friday: Massaged a bottle of white out into her belly, legs, coloring table, and carpet. I was angry at her, of course, but also angry at me- Why in the world do I even own White Out in the first place? I asked her why she did it, and her answer proved to be one that has confounded parents for decades. "I don't know...." I must find other diversions for her- it's not good for her to have any free time on her hands.

I wish I could have made pies with you and M. That was the perfect Saturday activity. I honestly could not believe how cold it was up north. I thought I was going to freeze to death. I could not get warm. Who knew white out could be used as a form of body paint? Leave it to Kiki to discover its other uses.
Becca,
You forgot to mention while I was cleaning the lotion off of the kitchen floor (ice skating rink) Maggie took the plant down off the fireplace mantel and proceeded to empty its contents onto the carpet. She went to bed early (EIGHT PM!). Bless her heart.

I'll be reporting you for littering, Ms. Hatch! ;) Wow. I think I figured out what to get you for Christmas. A size four straight jacket.
Can you sneak a couple of those pies in the trunk? Otherwise it's probably going to be an all Costco pie Thanksgiving.
Oh! The joy of being two. Little Elan stayed with me last week. She decided to play a tape and put it into the TV Vertically instead of the right way. When I pulled it out the little DOOR just kept opening and closing even when I turned off the TV. I finally got it to stop. Elan knew I was sad and concerned about it being broken. She looked up at me and said," I'm sorry, I buy you a new one, I will fix it." HOW CAN YOU GET MAD??" Remind yoursel, Becca, Kiki will only be two for 365 days. She is more than half way there. BY the way how about making a berry pie for Thanksgiving??
Love, Mom
