I love blog posts with that title. I think to myself, 'What could it be?!?! A pregnancy, or a marriage, or a new house...' I savor the moments of delightful anticipation as the blog in question (painfully) slowly loads. And it is always something awesome. Unless you read my blog, in which case you realize that I lead a quiet life with relatively few truly large announcements, also in which case you realize that a "Big Announcement!" for me will be:
Look! After almost 7 years of living here I finally chose something for the bedroom wall! That's right. I've been living in this house since June of 2003 and have had nothing hanging on the master bedroom walls. No wonder a change is so noteworthy.
Also noteworthy is Kiki's continuing career trajectory towards "Playmate of the Year." While Time Magazine's "Man of the Year" is what most people dream for their children, I'm working to accept Kiki for the scantily-clad heathen that she is.

Evidence: Cold enough for a blanket, yet still exposing midriff.

Evidence: Introspective self portrait for those who "read the articles."
(She seriously did take this picture.)

Evidence: Ability to romp playfully in the sand while barefoot despite temperatures registering in the 40's.
Evidence: Within the last 20 minutes has said the following:
"I won't fall asleep because I'm picking my butt."
(She will obviously be the Kendra Wilkinson of the Playboy Mansion.)

Looks great!
Congrats. Settling on a wall hanging it is a really big deal. And after nearly seven years, I must say you made a splendid selection. As for Kiki, at least she knows what she wants to be when she grows up. Are you ready for this weekend? I've been thinking about you. You are my inspiration. Hugs!
Beautiful. Both Kiki and the bedroom wall.
We are so alike! I have a couple of junky stuff on my wall but don't like any of it, but I just can't figure out what I WOULD like. And I've been here since 2002. And Kiki is so much like you, don't you remember you used to wear shorts every time it snowed in high school? Yet you were hardly ever sick.
You are my inspriation. One of these days, I'll too have a big announcement, regarding the wall over my bed. All walls are blank in my master bedroom except for a frame from costco with 9 4x6 pics that are 8 years old.
Regarding your youngest; just wait until she is a teenager. :)
