I'm Pretty Good At Interpreting Symbolism

During piano lessons the other day, I gave Kate, Kiki, and Chloe (my indispensable regular babysitter) a bunch of scrap paper and foam stickers to make cards. Nicely, both of the girls made one for me!

Look at Kate's first:

It is just like her- full of love and sunshine and rainbows and flowers and stars.
Notice that she even put extra colors on the rainbow.

Now for Kiki.
This is where a year of AP Art History will come in handy.
The card was hand delivered to me, so I know the message was meant for me personally.
The arrows mean that I can go somewhere.
It's pretty obvious the the pitchfork is hell.
And I think that the purple circle is a sun that "don't shine."

The only thing that has me stumped is the asterisk. Any ideas?

No comments, but I'd love to hear what Jack thinks of the asterik...

Did you check inside the card to see if there was an attachment for the asterik- like *Despite that I think you are the devil, I still love you? Just trying to help.

At least it's not a letter F...I'm just sayin'...
ha.ha.ha.ha.

In my writing the * usually replaces a naughty word so I think it makes perfect sense given the rest of the "artwork" on your precious card.

I'm with Jamie. Makes perfect sense to me.

Maybe is was her way of adding a disclaimer. Like despite the fact that she thinks you are "going to hell" and "you can stick the chores you give me where the sun don't shine" ***I'd still like to live here and eat your food.
