Kate talked early, and her first complete sentence was, "Becca, me want watch Nemo today." She was a good baby and very happy. She spent a lot of time with her cousin Elise, since Liza still lived in AF and we both worked part time. She loved to eat, and even when she was little she LOVED meat. She loved to run on the treadmill (closely supervised, of course, by Bruce).
As she has gotten older, she has kept on talking! Sometimes I will try to shush her and she will just whisper but the words keep on coming. She has always been a funny girl- some of the things I remember her saying: "This house is a dirty rat hole." "You have a big butt." I asked her what she learned about in Primary and she said, "Dinosaurs." A lady at the post office told her she was smart, and Kate replied, "And NICE." When Kiki was just a few weeks old, Kate caught me coming out of the shower and said, "Why do your boobs hang down like that?" Now you know why I prefer a little silence now and then.
For Kate: Your dad and I love you so much. We know that you try so hard to be a good girl. You are a good big sister, and I know Kiki loves you. I am proud that you are nice to your friends, and that you try hard in school. I think you are a great daughter. Happy Birthday, love Mommy.
