I've been growing my hair now for a couple of years hoping to donate it to Locks of Love. Today was hair cutting day!
I'm sure the innocent child who will wear a wig made from my hair won't mind if I try my old pigtails on the dog first...

...or let my five year old manhandle them...

...or stick them in my armpits...

...or pretend that Bruce is Pippi Longstocking.

Hopefully the results show on the scale tomorrow-I feel ten pounds lighter! The new haircut isn't looking so great in this picture, but it actually turned out cute.

It looks great! I've donated before and I loved doing it.
You are so cool! I've been saying I'll do the same thing for YEARS now--not just a couple, but I'm scared. My long hair just feels like me, so I keep thinking if I grow it a little longer (not Crystal Gale long though--that's scary), then when I cut it, it will still be sort of long. I also have irrational thoughts about getting super skinny and then cutting my hair. Obviously, I need help. How many inches did you end up donating? You are lucky your hair grows so fast. The new do looks great, and I'm sure you lost some weight with your being as hair as it is.
Oh I love the cut...makes me want to cut mine again!
You are BRAVE....I need to cut my, but I'm chicken + Mike would probably kill me right now.
You look great!
I love that you are not afraid to try new hair styles. It always looks great. It does seem like your hair grows freakishly fast though. It must be the Chia.
Have you already turned your hair in? Because actually, I would really like to buy it from you. It is gorgeous! Seriously, that hair will make like 10 wigs for kids. And I love your new cut too. You look amazing!
You look great long or short (preferably short in the pits)! We need to get together again. Rachael was asking for Kate and her sister with "the funny name".
