Hi-ho, hi-ho, to Pocatello we go.

My dad, the girls, and I loaded up Thursday night to go see Liza in Pocatello. Since I inadvertently failed to charge our DVD player it was the longest drive of my life. Jack was forced to answer the "When will we be there?" question several hundred times.

Strangely, the child who refuses to let me do her hair loves for Aunt Liza to do her hair. If only Liza could visit every Sunday and picture day.

We visited all the major sights in Pocatello, starting with Mckee's Feed Store/Petting Zoo.
They had turtles.

They had teeny tiny baby rats.

They had goats.

They had horses (not real).

They had a baby bottle guaranteed to fill your hungry baby right up.
They had an extremely vicious duck.

My brother-in-law is on a billboard now.

We also hit our favorite dining spots in Pocatello- Senor Iguana's and Butterburr's.

Grandpa Jack bonded with baby Whitney.
And, after a quick stop to Radio Shack for my DVD part, we enjoyed a relatively peaceful drive home.

This is cracking me up. I like the part where you clarify that the horses are not real. Oh, Becca. How I love thee.

Okay, this was a fun post, but if I'm being really honest I have to say that it's Jack's hair perfectly combed in the last picture that held mine eye.

I can't remember the last time that it was coifed so well. Shirt tucked in and everything! Boy, Liza must really tow the line up there--even Kiki wants to be groomed!

Although, crazy hair and untucked shirts are what we love about them the most....:)

How fun! I'm liking Pocatello more and more thanks to you. One funny thing, Matt and I were talking about that tiny merry go round outside Kmart and I told him my mom almost always let us ride on it, and said in his ENTIRE life he wanted to ride it but never was allowed because of the cost. Poor kid. So I'm glad to see that your kids, even when accompanied by their an accountant mom and grandpa, were not so deprived.
