I bought snowshoes for Bruce and I and today we went on our maiden voyage- Little Mill, AF Canyon. Kate had a play date; Kiki rode in the backpack so Bruce and I could get a little bit more of a workout (and test the recommended weight limit for our shoes).
"How deep is the snow?" you ask? In the forefront of this picture is a picnic table and BBQ grill.
Can you believe a place like this is just 10 minutes from my house?I don't know how we got so lucky.
...getting tired...and cranky.

I would say "looks fun" but as you know I'm not really an outdoor in the snow kinda gal, but do you want to know something funny? Matt just bought some snowshoes TODAY off someone on craigslist, brand new, for $50.00. He looked online and said they are usually $200.00. Hopefully they work as well as y'all's do.
Looks like so much fun!
That is awesome. It's so good for a relationship to do things together especially outside!
