Christmas Eve

We celebrated what we called "Family Christmas."  Since we were flying away to Bohol for the holidays, it was impossible to pack all we were exchanging, so last night we opened all of our presents from each other.  The girls were very excited and spent the day shaking boxes and examing their loot.

A careful inventory was taken.

Their stockings were actually tote bags full of Filipino loot.

They were excited to receive snorkeling equipment from Bruce and I and have been putting it to good use.

The aftermath was impressive.

We woke up very early this morning to catch a flight to Tagbilaran.  You know how sometimes I tell you how to pronounce things?  No luck with that here since I still can't figure it out.

Remember all the times I've said, "Don't mail us anything...we won't ever get it."
Here's why.  Welcome to Customs.

We arrived safely in Bohol.  Kiki is pretty thrilled with the grounds.  Anytime directions to your room include, "Turn at the elephant," it's pretty exciting.

Also, there is a Dino Park.  She is so happy.
So very happy.

So very, very happy.

I can't say that it necessarily feels like Christmas Eve...

...but this isn't so bad.
