Bloopers

Yesterday Kate gathered many interesting items. A couple of feathers, some twigs, a leaf, a few cat tails- they were all going in her "collection." She talked all evening about her collection, and that she would keep these items forever. About bed time, she was playing in her room, and she came out and said, "Come look at my collection! I can keep them forever! Come look at my collection!" I went into her room, and sure enough, the collection WAS in a permanent location. She had glued all of these things to her nightstand!

Bruce wanted to go on a walk. His parents have been visiting, but they were downstairs watching a little TV. We were in Kiki's room getting the girls' shoes on, and Bruce said to the girls, "Raise your hand if you want to go on a walk!" and of course Kate raised her hand high. Then Bruce turned to me, and in a mischievous tone said, "Raise your shirt if you want to go on a walk!" The look of horror on my face clued him in to the fact that something terrible had happened as I pointed downstairs and mouthed, "THE BABY MONITOR IS ON!" So embarrassing.
