Here kitty, kitty, kitty

Well, Merrilee has been out of town for a night, and so I have been responsible for feeding her 5 cats she claims, along with the numerous strays, racoons, and creatures of the night she attracts. Anyone who know my mom knows that she is very particular about how the feeding is done, and it called to mind a little story.
When Kate was about two, she got into the cupboard where I keep all my pie tins. I was cooking dinner, so I was thinking that she was going to "cook" along with me. So she carefully spreads out 5 or 6 pie tins, then starts walking around the kitchen going, "Here kitty kitty kitty. Here kitty kitty kitty." Thanks Mom.

OMG, I might laugh about this for days!! Seriously, one of my greatest fears in life is that I will start to feed strays outside like your mom. God bless that woman, but in all honesty that is why Bruce is a housecat and three others were "lovingly placed" in different towns! I truly fear the pie-tin drama.
Thank you for hosting us on Friday. I had so much fun. I'm sorry that L tried to cook Kiki in the dryer. Yeah, glad that we weren't upstairs looking at fabric swatches. That could have been quite a police report. I love you!!
