Poor Kiki gets her head caught in the banister, and all her mother can think is, "Well, she isn't totally freaking out, so I guess I'll take a few pictures for the blog." These are the dangers of living in a house built pre-1985.

Kiki, Jack, and Lachlan
Rose brought the kids down yesterday for a fun afternoon of eating dog food and sharing sippy cups. I couldn't believe how far Lachlan has come in the past year. She loved playing with Kate's kitchen and was fascinated by a toy hamster attached to a moving ball. She is still very tiny- Kiki is a heavyweight, Jack a light heavyweight, and little Lola is a welterweight (but a fighter nevertheless...). We went to see Merrilee's new house down the street, and Jack was thrilled with the backhoe operating in the backyard. and Lachlan pretty much laid down and rolled in the sheetrock/saw dust. Back at the house Kiki eagerly showed off her "Look I can climb in the dryer" trick, and Lola was quick to respond with her "Look I can shut the door and turn it to heavy duty" trick. What a fun afternoon, and Rose, let me publicly say that you are a great mom and are doing an awesome job. xoxo

sounds like a fun day! sometimes I think it would be nice to hide out in the dryer, but then again...don't we all?
