Today Grandpa Jack watched Maggie while Kate and I went out with just us. We call them "Kate Dates" and I think she enjoys having me all to herself. We just went on errands, and in the car, Kate informed me that when she grows up she wants to have a tattoo AND a mohawk. I tried explaining that tattoos are permanent and it's a big decision, but she seems set on it. I then took her to Starbucks for a treat, and when we walked in she said, "This place smells like old nuts." Well, there's only one path for her I guess...
Maggie has a funny little trick- whenever she spills something, she purposely steps in it. Now, others find this hilarious, like when she dumped her goldfish at church and ground them into the carpet as I rushed to pick them up. Tonight, however, we reached a new low... As I got her out of the bath, she tinkled in the hall before I could get her diaper on. Before I could blink, she had two feet in the puddle of urine, then took off running leaving little urine tracks, then slipped in her mini-puddle foot tracks of urine, then rolled over in the urine trying to get up. Needless to say, she had a second bath in short order.

Bennett has declared for a couple of years now that he is going to be a rockstar when he grows up. I see a match made in heaven.
I love the quote of the week. I'm pretty sure that that information was supposed to stay on the "down low".
I'm pretty sure it was as well, and frankly I'm sorry I missed that class both as a youth and last week, because I have always wondered.
at least staight edgers kind of have good values--except they do it in a violent way.
