Merrilee and George Are Expecting!

Expecting you to come see their new puppies, that is!

George's sons' dog (who lives with George and my mom) had puppies a few days ago. Kate is so excited about the new additions. There is 3 boy puppies and 1 girl puppy.

Bruce and I had a fun anniversary. My friend Julie came down with her husband and two girls to take family pictures for us. (I'll post a few once Julie has photoshopped in Bruce's hair, out my spare tire, in a smile for Kiki, and in Kate's missing teeth. Julie has been instructed to remove wrinkles, blemishes, frowns, and errant hairs, as well as elongate legs and shorten feet, enlarge breasts (mine) and reduce noses. You won't even recognize us. And that's the point.)

It was a great day for pictures. Our local park is still covered in leaves and the sun was shining. Afterwards, the girls played and played, while the adults had a real conversation. Kurt and Julie celebrated with us the day we got married (only at the reception, you perverts), and it was fun to have them celebrate with us again on our anniversary. Later that night, after we had gone to see the puppies, we thought we'd take the girls out for an anniversary dinner. There's lots of romantic places in Pleasant Grove. You have BJ's Short Stop, or a park that is 99% guaranteed to not have a homeless person in it, or the Purple Turtle. We settled on a different den of romance- Taco Amigo. We celebrated seven years with our two crazy girls over bean burritoes and Diet Cokes. It suited us.
