Today I had lunch with my friend Maggie- we go all the way back to high school! It was so much fun to catch up with her. Despite last Saturday's fiasco, we braved McDonald's so the kids could play and we could have an actual conversation. Kiki fortunately failed to repeat last week's antics. My Maggie is named after my dear friend. I have such good memories of our friendship and of Maggie, and I hope my little one has some of her great qualities.
Also, Rose crashed here on Sunday night since she had an early job at UVU the next morning. We DVR'd the Emmy's and, other than skipping the commercials, it was just like old times. We laughed at the same jokes, criticized the same outfits, and said, "Oh, she looks pretty..." in unison.
