Step 2: Pack a lunch.
Step 3: Kick the tires and light the fires, because you are going on a car ride.
Bruce and I decided that since taking our kids to even a regular sacrament was like the 3rd circle of Dante's Inferno, taking them to stake conference was circle number 6 at least. Twice the shrieking and renting of garments. So there's step one for you. Step 2 was easy- I packed a lunch. Step 3- We drove to Cascade Springs. The girls had a great time and the weather has been perfect.
I regret now all those times I had yet ANOTHER picture of either Kate with some weird smile or the back of her head, and I thought to myself, I can't wait until this kid willingly poses for a picture. The day has come, and I AM SO SORRY.

You've inspired me for next week's stake conference. Before I read this blog I was dreading it, now I can't wait.
The Baptists have it good don't they...short meetings on Sunday...or no meetings...j/k, but the thought of Sunday's doing family things is so appealing sometimes...glad you had a nice day.
