369
That's right. 369 jars of peaches, tomatoes, applesauce, apple pie filling, pears, pear sauce, and 1 experimental batch of chili (final verdict on the chili? NOT WORTH THE WORK.). I feel quite satisfied with our labors. Just the other day Janet and I talked about how rewarding it was to look at a processed jar of applesauce in the afternoon, and know that it was an apple hanging on a tree just hours before.
In these crazy economic times, it is nice to know that my family has a whole year's worth of fruit and I spent less than $50 to do it.

You win. It was a landslide. I couldn't even compete in Michigan, Florida, Nevada...and I conceded Ohio.
You are the master.

Way to go Bec! We're so proud of you. Are you going to open your own cannery?
