After several weeks of wiggling and praying (including one premature yank that may have been successful had the blinding pain been less of a surprise), Kate has lost her first tooth!

We are praying that these teeth fall out ASAP.

When Bruce and I put in a big jetted tub, we thought it would be a relaxing oasis. It's turned out to be an oasis some of the time, but a playland most of the time. I took this picture because I always want to remember how much fun these two girls had in their bubble bath.

We woke up to the first snow of the season. It was shocking and Kiki was extremely mad about the cold. Kate is in denial and is currently sporting shorts and a T-shirt.
Childhood milestones are like the snow- no matter how ready you think you are, they always come too soon.

Come join us in our snowless winter paradise. It's going to be 90 all week long!
Cayden just lost a tooth tonight as well and got a kick out of the girls' tooth pictures. The snow looks beautiful, but does seem a little unbelievable to us!
OH, man. I can't tell Bennett. He is so distraught over having lost ZERO teeth thus far, and is convinced he is the only six-year-old who still has all his baby teeth. He might be; I'm really not sure. But it's okay with me. Let's delay getting the braces he will surely need once all those big teeth are in. If our kids have Jason's teeth, we are doomed to a life of debt to the orthodontist.
Anyway, that was more than you needed. What I meant was congrats to Kate. We have a really cute Charlie and Lola book about wobbly teeth that she would like.
Also, I, too have an rebel-against-old-man-winter-child at my house. Owen still refuses to wear anything but soccer shorts and t-shirts and flip flops, much to my dismay. Oh well, I guess. Kids are much tougher than we are, let's face it.
i love the picture of kate's toothless grin. i can see the pure joy in her eyes. what an exciting moment. what'd she think of the tooth fairy?
Hey when are going to take some pictues of your fam. Let me know if you want to, my calendar is filling up. Congrats on the teeth. What is the going rate at your house for teeth? Thanks to my dad it is $5 a tooth at our house.
