Elise and Charlie (my niece and nephew) were playing school. Ever since Elise started kindergarten its been one of their favorite past-times. Charlie has had to learn that toy guns are a no-no when picking Elise up from school. When they were playing school, Charlie remarked about the toy AK-47 he had strapped to his back, and Elise (the teacher) said, "It's okay, Charlie. It's Gun Day at school today."
Hence the title of this post. If you are thinking, '...but Palin isn't running for president...' All that would have to happen is that John McCain would get elected President (which is possible) and then die of heart failure at some point in the next 48 months (which is probable). No long political tirade today, though.

I'll take a gun toting, pro life, smaller gov't, reduce taxes, hockey mom over any thing that spells Pelosi and her "san fran values" any day of the week! (who by the way is only TWO heartbeats away from the presidency...scary thought) Oh, did I mention tha BO is a chain smoker who could have lung issues just as easily as long as we're talking "what ifs..."
Oh man. All I can say is Tina Fey is so good as Ms. Palin. It's too much.
BUT I will also say I was surprised by how well she did in the debates last night. I would pee my pants if I had to go up against Joe Biden in front of the world. Apparently Katie Couric is more intimidating???
