Kate and Kiki, as previously mentioned, have a love/hate relationship. I'm amazed by the speed at which even the most tranquil of situations can go completely sour. Kate cries, Kiki bites, and total meltdowns are achieved in moments. I know that I expect more of Kate because she is older, and that seems unfair sometimes that Kiki skates by because she's the "baby." We've started putting Kiki in time outs, and frankly, she seems to enjoy it. Not exactly what I had in mind for a disciplinary strategy. Here's a couple of conversations from the last few days.
Kate snatches a toy away from Kiki, oblivious to her screams of despair and frustration. Kate then comes to me and says, "Look! I'm teaching Kiki how to share."
Same scenario, different day. I said, "Kate, what can you do to be a peacemaker?" She ran out of the room shouting, "Kiki! Kiki! Get over here for your spanking!"

Bec,
This goes back to the Pocatello entry. Your kids are so stinking cute and you are beautiful. It's SO not fair.
