With Kate in Idaho playing with her cousins, Kiki got to experience being the only child for the weekend. She dug it. She thinks it's how things should be all of the time. Okay, maybe not all of the time- on Sunday she did start to ask for Kate.
We took advantage of the great weather on Saturday to meet the Church family at the zoo.

The kids got to pet a chinchilla.
There was no such luck for me, as I spent Sunday playing for the ward choir, going to Ward Council, playing for the Sacrament Meeting musical number, then conducting and doing sharing time in Primary. Between Fall Break and assorted sicknesses, our numbers were sparse, so it was just like being in the mission field. Kiki told the nursery leaders she needed to "go potty," but since she isn't potty trained, it was really just an ruse to escape nursery then roam the halls naked from the waist down. I was relieved when Kate came home and reminded me that I'm not a total failure as a parent.
